Title Manager

About the role

World Business Lenders offers short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. It is hiring a fully remote Title Manager to lead its title clearance team. The typical schedule is 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday to Friday, with extra hours sometimes needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the title clearance team by giving direction, feedback and support for efficient operations.
• Manage workload by prioritizing tasks, delegating and balancing resources to meet deadlines and goals.
• Promote team development through training and professional growth opportunities.
• Monitor SLAs to ensure compliance, timely delivery and quality standards.
• Act as the primary escalation contact to resolve issues promptly and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, best practices and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant proficiency.
• 10 years in title, with substantial management experience rather than 10 years exclusively in leadership.
• Preferred: at least 10 years of overall title experience, including team leadership, and extensive hands-on experience reviewing title commitments, clearing liens, interpreting legal descriptions and determining lien priority.
• Experience resolving title issues affecting loan approval, closing or funding, and reviewing corporate documents to verify entity authority and property ownership or vesting.

Required skills

• Soft skills: effective communication, proven leadership, adaptability, problem-solving and strong time management.
• Technical: proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CSC, NETRO and corporate document review.
