Americas Financial Planning & Analysis Summer 2027 Intern

About the role

Avis Budget Group is offering a 10-week summer internship in its Americas Financial Planning & Analysis team, part of the ABG Accelerate internship program. The internship takes place at the World HQ in Parsippany, NJ, and includes department learning, professional development workshops, sessions with leaders and visits to field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and perform analysis and reconciliation of accounts
• Develop monthly forecasts and a business plan for revenue and expense accounts
• Assist with preparation and automation of various management reports
• Support month and quarter close processes
• Review monthly income statements to reconcile forecast to actuals
• Develop a project that drives value and insights and present it to business leaders at the end of the internship
• Take part in ad-hoc projects

Required profile

• Active enrollment at college or university
• Ability to work 35 hours per week at the World HQ in Parsippany, NJ
• Able to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure, constantly changing environment
• Detail-oriented, with strong ownership of work
• Team player who can also work independently

Required skills

• Proficiency to advanced computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
