About the role

Avis Budget Group is offering a 10-week summer internship in its Accelerate program, focused on corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The internship takes place at the World HQ in Parsippany, NJ, and includes professional development workshops, sessions with leaders and visits to field operations. The hourly rate is $30.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly close, forecast and plan processes
  • Track and report results, drivers and variances versus prior year, current forecast and business plan
  • Prepare and distribute various management reports
  • Take part in ad-hoc projects

Required profile

  • Active enrollment at college or university
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week at the World HQ in Parsippany, NJ
  • Able to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure, constantly changing environment, with good time management
  • Detail-oriented, with strong ownership of work
  • Team player who can also work independently, with excellent communication skills

Required skills

  • Proficiency to advanced computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
