Testing Coordinator

About the role

The Testing Coordinator will lead the coordination, administration, development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of testing services at Savannah Technical College. This position supports standardized, academic, placement, and certification examinations across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer testing sessions, ensuring compliance with state and institutional policies.
• Develop and implement testing initiatives to improve efficiency and security.
• Monitor testing processes, collect data, and recommend improvements.
• Proctor examinations and manage testing platforms such as Pearson VUE and ACCUPLACER.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate testing records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least two years of experience administering or proctoring standardized or certification exams.
• Experience working with computer‑based testing systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, and lifting light to medium objects for several hours.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Pearson VUE testing platform.
• Experience using ACCUPLACER.
• Proficiency with other computer‑based testing systems.
