About the role
Tarleton State University’s College of Health & Clinical Professions seeks a tenure‑track faculty member in Physical Therapy. The position can be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level and will support the development of the new Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physical therapy, both on‑campus and online.
- Develop and revise curriculum aligned with accreditation standards.
- Conduct scholarly research and secure external funding.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to students and junior faculty.
- Engage in service activities within the university and professional community.
Required profile
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
- Eligibility for board certification in physical therapy.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and service.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
