Admissions Specialist IV – Advanced Student Services

About the role

The Admissions Specialist IV provides advanced customer service and operational support to prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and external partners. Working under general supervision, this role acts as a subject‑matter expert on admissions, transfer articulations, and university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑level assistance through phone, email, and in‑person interactions regarding admissions, registration, residency, transcripts, and academic programs.
• Resolve complex student inquiries and guide applicants through the online admission and registration processes.
• Conduct presentations and informational sessions on admission requirements and university offerings.
• Coordinate and supervise student workers, managing schedules and workload distribution.
• Lead special projects aimed at improving admission processing efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable customer‑service role.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to multitask and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
