About the role

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at East Texas A&M University seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Biochemistry to begin in Spring 2027. This full‑time, nine‑month appointment will involve teaching, research, and service within a high‑research‑activity R2 university.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program in biochemistry.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including laboratory instruction.
