Temporary Senior Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor for a temporary assignment at Soma Towers. The role will cover a leave of absence and will not exceed 90 days, providing leadership for maintenance operations and ensuring property standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all technical and mechanical work across the property, including interior and exterior maintenance, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and oversee outside vendors, handling warranties and service requests.
• Develop and enforce standards for cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the community.
• Assist with budgeting for regular repairs, maintenance, and capital expenses, and process resident work orders promptly.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.

Required profile

• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of hot‑water heater repair and basic carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
