Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor supports the maintenance team at Soma Towers, a luxury high‑rise community in downtown Bellevue. This position ensures that all building systems, common areas, and resident requests are addressed promptly and to Greystar’s high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in accordance with safety codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, basic plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and entry‑level carpentry.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to on‑call emergencies.

Required skills

• Safe use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools.
• Basic plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.
• EPA Type 1, Type II, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
