Temporary Maintenance Technician – Northwest Austin

About the role

We are looking for a temporary Maintenance Technician to join our team in Northwest Austin. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendor services.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Required profile

• Experience in building or property maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, inspection reports and basic technical drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and team members.
