Telecom Expense Manager (TEM) Analyst / Consultant - Hybrid

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Analyst / Consultant to support enterprise telecom cost optimization initiatives. The role involves managing, analyzing, and optimizing telecom expenses across wireless, voice, data, and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze telecom expenses to identify cost‑saving opportunities and eliminate billing inefficiencies.
• Perform detailed invoice audits, reconcile data across ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and carrier portals, and generate zero‑usage reports.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for telecom spend.
• Support vendor management activities, including invoice validation, payment tracking, and contract analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Telecom Expense Management, auditing telecom invoices, and optimizing telecom spend.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
