Technology Workforce Management Analyst

About the role

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of the Netherlands-based Ahold Delhaize, is hiring an Analyst III, Business Systems within the IT Workforce Management team. The role leads internal resource management and capacity planning for IT resources across an assigned departmental project portfolio, working with Resource Managers, Project Managers and the Vendor Management Office to manage resources, review allocations and mitigate resource conflicts.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department and project managers to maintain 13-week rolling resource plans and resolve resource conflicts across the portfolio.
• Track day-to-day resource allocation for internal FTE and contractor demand, and review external labor usage against strategic and financial targets.
• Monitor total allocation (operational plus project demand), flag over- and under-commitments, and keep allocations up to date in the system, including soft bookings and unauthorized changes.
• Produce weekly capacity snapshots (actuals vs. forecast) and escalate persistent over-allocation patterns to the Workforce Management manager.
• Assess capacity feasibility for new projects, map cross-functional dependencies (Architecture, QA, Security), and keep the workforce view current with joiner, mover and leaver updates.
• Prepare capacity-based analysis for new-hire, contractor and backfill requests, and train Resource Managers and Project Managers on PPM system standards, resource planning and time-entry guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• 3+ years in systems analysis or related technology-focused analytical work.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, data analysis and reporting.
• Preferred: Power BI, Clarity PPM, and PPM/PSA tools (allocation management, project setup, reporting).
• Preferred: experience in technology workforce or resource management in a consulting or professional services environment.

What we offer

• Flexible hybrid schedule: 3 in-person days and 2 remote days at the core Salisbury, NC location.
• Salary range of $75,040-$112,560, depending on qualifications, experience and market conditions.
