Technical Project Manager

About the role

Ahold Delhaize USA is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure initiatives while keeping them aligned with technical specifications, budgets and financial objectives. The role partners with engineering, finance, product and business stakeholders to define system requirements, maintain project budgets, manage vendors and track resource use. It is based in Salisbury, NC, with a hybrid schedule of 3 in-person days and 2 remote days; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, plan schedules and coordinate resources
• Track milestones, dependencies, financials, risks and issues
• Facilitate communication and decision-making across teams
• Ensure compliance with delivery frameworks (SDLC/IDLC)
• Provide project updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Collaborate with vendors and manage contract deliverables
• Develop cost plans and forecasts, monitor actuals and report variances with mitigation steps
• Report project financials and flag risks such as invoicing issues
• Support critical escalations and be available during urgent IT incidents
• Oversee project change requests (PCR) and ensure scope changes are evaluated, approved and documented

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience
• 5+ years of project management or delivery experience
• Skilled in delivering projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Preferred: experience monitoring project budgets and expenditures, and resolving project conflicts and resource constraints

Salary range: $115,760 - $173,640.
