Technology Support Specialist I – Full Benefits

About the role

The Manteca Unified School District is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I to provide on‑site computer and technology assistance at Joseph Widmer School. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with a one‑hour lunch break.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for computers, peripherals, and classroom technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for staff and students.
• Maintain and update technology equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Collaborate with school personnel to address technology needs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S. Department of Education accredited).
• Minimum two years of experience supporting computers and technology.
• Ability to obtain TB clearance and complete fingerprinting at employee cost.
• Preference given to internal candidates.

Required skills

• Computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Software support and installation.
• General technology assistance in an educational environment.
