Technology Support Specialist I

About the role

The Technology Support Specialist I provides day‑to‑day technology assistance to staff and students within the district office. Working under the direction of the site administrator and the Information Technology Department, this full‑time position offers a standard 8‑hour workday with full benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist staff and students with the use of hardware, software, and network resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on computers and related devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates for district technology assets.
• Document support activities and follow established IT procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the IT department.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (proof required upon hire).
• At least two years of experience providing computer and technology support.
• Ability to obtain TB clearance and fingerprinting at employee cost.
• Preference given to internal candidates.
