Technology Intern

About the role

Lilly Technology is seeking curious, self‑motivated interns to work on real‑world projects that support the delivery of life‑changing medicines. Interns will be matched with a project aligned to their skills and career goals, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects across Generative AI, Cloud Engineering, System Engineering, Data Science & Machine Learning, Software Product Engineering, Cybersecurity, User Experience Design, Integrated Product Systems, and Product Leadership.
• Collaborate with experts to design, develop, and test technology solutions that power the medicine industry.
• Apply AI tools responsibly, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Security, Business, or a related field, with sophomore standing by June 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without sponsorship.
• Strong problem‑analysis, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and leadership experience.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools such as generative AI platforms, automation or AI‑assisted research/analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and ITIL methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, data science, machine learning, and user‑experience design concepts.
