Technology Consulting Intern 2027

About the role

Protiviti is hiring Technology Consulting interns for its 2027 program in Atlanta. Interns work with Protiviti's clients, typically among the world's leading companies, collaborating with the team to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. The internship offers exposure to several industries, hands-on training and a preview of Foundations, the firm's entry-level full-time career path.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients on projects in one of six technology consulting areas: Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI, Microsoft, Security and Privacy, Technology Risk and Resilience, or Technology Strategy and Architecture.
• Receive hands-on training and project assignments from Talent Managers, supported by a network of advisors.
• Participate in Liftoff, the onboarding experience, and The Intern Challenge, an experiential learning course.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IoT, Applied Math, Machine Learning).
• Currently enrolled in a degree program and expected to graduate within 12 months after the internship.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI).

Required skills

• Advanced verbal and written communication and critical thinking.
• Preferred: familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, MicroStrategy, or SSRS.
• Preferred: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata or similar databases.
• Preferred: Python, Java, JavaScript and basic knowledge of IT controls, security topics and project risk management.
