Technician III/IV/Senior Technician I – Nanofabrication Support

About the role
The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station seeks skilled technicians to provide maintenance and support for facilities, utility equipment, and nanofabrication processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. The role involves using technical manuals, online resources, and OEM representatives to keep equipment operational with minimal downtime while strictly following Standard Operating Procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on nanofabrication tools and utility equipment.
- Consult technical manuals, online documentation, and OEM support to troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure equipment uptime by minimizing downtime and promptly addressing failures.
- Follow cleanroom cleanliness protocols and SOPs at all times.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Technician III: entry‑level qualification.
- Technician IV: minimum two years of related experience.
- Senior Technician I: minimum four years of related experience.
- Hands‑on experience with maintenance and operation of nanofabrication tools.
