Technical Project Manager – Data & Databricks

About the role

The Technical Project Manager – Data & Databricks drives day‑to‑day execution of complex data and Databricks engagements. You will bridge technical delivery with client priorities, ensuring projects follow HIKE2’s delivery playbooks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day execution and operating rhythm of Databricks and data projects.
• Maintain Jira board as the source of truth, managing backlog, stories, tasks, dependencies and blockers.
• Run project ceremonies such as stand‑ups, planning, backlog reviews, status meetings and retrospectives.
• Produce and distribute Weekly Pulse Report covering progress, risks, decisions, budget and next steps.
• Track technical dependencies across data sources, pipelines, architecture, security and testing.
• Ensure clear visibility of project health for client and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project or program management experience, primarily on data, analytics, cloud or data platform implementations.
• Proven ability to lead technical engineering teams and manage complex technical workstreams.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience with Databricks or comparable modern cloud data platforms.
• Excellent client‑facing communication and executive‑level reporting skills.
