Senior Integration Developer – Remote

About the role

Fathom Management is looking for an experienced Senior Integration Developer to design, build, and support scalable enterprise integrations across applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud environments. The role combines backend development, API integration, and architecture expertise while establishing integration standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end integration solutions spanning backend services, APIs, integration layers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable integration architectures.
• Implement integration patterns such as event‑driven, pub/sub, ESB, and iPaaS.
• Develop and secure RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs, applying OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and rate‑limiting controls.
• Create data mapping, transformation, and orchestration pipelines across heterogeneous systems.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, multi‑environment deployments, and production monitoring.
• Document architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and configuration standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software development with Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API design.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, or GraphQL services and API security mechanisms.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Solid knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and orchestration.
• Experience across the full SDLC, including CI/CD and multi‑environment support.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
