Technical Program Manager (Senior) – Robotics & Automation

About the role

RobCo is building autonomous industrial robotics and needs a senior Technical Program Manager to own multiple complex robotics and automation deployment programs from design through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of several strategic robotics deployment programs, coordinating pre‑sales, design, implementation and handover.
• Design repeatable operating mechanisms, governance frameworks and delivery processes to support rapid growth.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, software, controls, manufacturing, supply chain and field deployment.
• Provide transparent updates to C‑level executives, investors and customers on progress, risks and business impact.
• Oversee technical integration, budgets, margins, resource planning and schedules.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to resolve issues independently.
• Analyze operational patterns to drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Technical university degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science) or equivalent with significant professional experience.
• 7+ years leading complex technical programs in robotics, industrial automation or hardware‑software integration.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale automation systems from concept to commissioning with minimal oversight.
• Strong understanding of mechatronic, robotic or cyber‑physical systems and ability to translate technical detail into business impact.
• Self‑starter with exceptional ownership, data‑driven execution style and comfort with ambiguity.
• Fluent English; German is a plus; willingness to travel up to 25%.
