Senior Solutions Development Engineer

About the role

RobCo is building autonomous industrial robotics and seeks a Senior Solutions Development Engineer to translate visionary customer requirements into robust, field‑ready robotic system architectures for US deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate sales‑engineered customer requirements into simulation‑validated solution concepts and system architectures.
• Perform simulation, modeling, prototyping, and engineering analysis to validate designs before execution.
• Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, controls, and software designs for complex robotic solutions.
• Define system requirements, interfaces, constraints, and acceptance criteria to eliminate downstream ambiguity.
• Lead structured design reviews and produce comprehensive Solution Development Packages.

Required profile

• Vocational training or degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in robotic system design, simulation and multi‑disciplinary solution engineering.
• Proven track record in mechanical, electrical or controls design with risk mitigation.
• Strong ability to evaluate technical trade‑offs and communicate risks.
• Very good English; German is a plus.
