Technical Marketing Manager - Companion Animal Veterinary Services

About the role

Ceva Animal Health is looking for an experienced Technical Marketing Manager to join its Companion Animal Veterinary Services team, reporting to the head of US Companion Animal Veterinary Services. The role is the scientific and technical lead for assigned companion animal brands, bridging veterinary medicine and marketing by turning complex science into educational programs, technical communications and customer value propositions. It covers product strategy, medical education, publication initiatives, key opinion leader engagement, business intelligence and innovation planning.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as technical subject matter expert for assigned products and therapeutic areas, working with Veterinary Services, Sales and Marketing to set and communicate scientific messages and maintain evidence-based product positioning.
• Develop and deliver technical training, presentations, guides, sales tools and customer resources, and present at conferences, customer meetings and advisory boards.
• Support corporate and strategic accounts, including customer meetings and key account growth through technical education.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, universities and veterinary organisations, and manage KOL engagement, sentiment tracking and advisory board planning.
• Partner with the Director of Veterinary Services on publication strategy, including manuscripts, abstracts and conference presentations, and review scientific literature.
• Conduct scientific and technical surveillance, monitor competitors and industry trends, and gather market insights for portfolio decisions.
• Contribute to pipeline planning and innovation strategy with Innovation & Development, Business Development, Marketing, Veterinary Services and Global teams.
• Collaborate with U.S. and Global Marketing, Veterinary Services, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Strategic Accounts and Innovation teams to keep scientific messages consistent across markets.

Required profile

• Deep veterinary expertise and a strong foundation in veterinary medicine, disease management and animal health product knowledge.
• Ability to design, execute and evaluate scientific trials and field studies using sound scientific methodology.
• Project management and organisational skills, with experience planning and running customer meetings and educational programmes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills, and ability to influence stakeholders.
