Technical Lead – SAP S/4HANA & SAP Fioneer FPSL

About the role

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a senior Technical Lead to drive the design and implementation of its SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fioneer FPSL financial architecture. You will translate IFRS and US GAAP accounting requirements into high‑performance solutions that underpin the company’s financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable financial architectures using SAP S/4HANA General Ledger and SAP Fioneer FPSL.
• Architect end‑to‑end data flow from source systems to the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and ensure data integrity across multi‑GAAP ledgers.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align technical solutions with regulatory and business requirements.
• Own critical components of the Result Data Layer and Subledger Journal, focusing on performance, reliability, and auditability.
• Mentor junior engineers and functional consultants, conduct design reviews, and provide technical leadership in ABAP and HANA modeling.
• Maintain best practices for system performance tuning, batch processing, and integration logic to support a fast, reliable financial close.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional experience in SAP Finance implementation and development.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Architect in large‑scale SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
