Technical Bid Manager

About the role

Televic Rail US is seeking an East‑Coast‑based Technical Bid Manager to lead complex customer pursuits and develop winning technical and commercial solutions for major rail projects across the United States and internationally. The role bridges customers and internal teams, translating requirements into clear, feasible, and competitive proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial bids from initial inquiry through contract award.
• Analyze customer requirements, specifications, and RFP documentation.
• Develop clear, practical, and competitive technical solution concepts.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management teams.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the bid phase.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks.
• Support pricing strategy and proposal development activities.
• Present solution concepts to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and aligned with company capabilities.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and improve bid processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in technical, systems, engineering, project management, or customer‑facing technical roles.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
• Experience in transportation, rail, communications systems, software, electronics, or infrastructure is a plus.
