Team Truck Driver (CDL A) – $140k-$160k/year

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Team Drivers to transport freight between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers, enjoy a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule, and earn a competitive salary of $140,000‑$160,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers across assigned routes.
• Maintain on‑time delivery schedules while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow routing instructions.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (MVR, PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if FMCSA transition criteria are met).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
