CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers to transport van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations while returning home each night. The position offers the potential to earn up to $125,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and operate van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers on scheduled routes.
• Transport freight safely between service centers and designated turn‑point locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation for each haul.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop as needed.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.

• Basic knowledge of DOT compliance.
