Tax Manager

About the role

DWD CPAs & Advisors, a firm founded in 1939 providing accounting, assurance and tax services to individuals, businesses and nonprofits, serves clients across Indiana from its Fort Wayne and Marion offices. It is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to serve clients in a variety of industries, with opportunities for advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve clients across a range of industries
• Maintain client contact through the planning, research and tax return preparation process
• Identify and implement tax planning and consulting opportunities and strategies
• Oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries
• Communicate tax reporting and compliance changes within the firm
• Coach and develop teammates

Required profile

• CPA license
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
• Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, corporations and high net-worth individuals and families
• Ability to research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax-related issues
• Excellent project management, analytical and interpersonal communication skills
