Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead multiple tax engagements and deliver high‑quality tax services to our clients. The role combines technical tax expertise with leadership and client‑relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple tax engagements, preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and non‑profits.
• Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services while staying current with tax law changes.
• Develop, mentor, and train staff within the tax department.
• Research complex tax theory, defend positions, and communicate strategies to clients.
• Participate in business development to attract and retain clients.

Required profile

• Active CPA license.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialization.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• Experience using Thomson Reuters Accounting CS, Fixed Assets CS, and UltraTax CS (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
