About the role

Join Henry & Peters, a respected middle‑market CPA firm, as a Tax Manager in the growing Frisco office. You will lead tax engagements, build trusted client relationships, and mentor staff while contributing to the firm’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Prepare and review complex individual, trust, estate, partnership, S‑corp, and C‑corp returns.
• Research technical tax issues and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Mentor and develop staff in a collaborative environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve client service and support firm growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience.
• Active CPA license.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Leadership experience with advanced technical tax knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Lacerte tax software.
• Experience using CCH.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Working knowledge of Adobe tools.
• Microsoft Office suite.
