About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern in Silicon Valley. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, supporting the delivery of comprehensive tax advice, compliance, and planning services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

  • Support tax teams in providing advice and planning strategies.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
  • Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize client positions.
  • Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
  • Conduct tax research and contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions.
  • Apply data analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Observe and learn from senior tax professionals.

Required profile

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
  • Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
