About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in Boston as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver strategic advice, compliance, and planning services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in preparing corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Research and analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions.
• Support international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Contribute to the development of tax models, provisions, and audit documentation.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax optimization opportunities.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build technical expertise.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
