About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Atlanta as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, gaining hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance, international tax planning and data‑driven tax optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related compliance documents.
• Research and analyse complex tax regulations to optimise client tax positions.
• Participate in international and multistate tax compliance projects.
• Develop tax models and structures under supervision.
• Contribute to tax provision calculations and audit support.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Basic understanding of corporate tax compliance and international tax concepts.
• Proficiency with data‑analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
