Talent Operations Specialist

About the role

Normal Computing is looking for a Talent Operations Specialist to own and scale the recruiting engine that brings world‑class hardware, software and AI talent into the company. Working directly with the Head of Talent, you will design high‑efficiency workflows, keep candidate data clean, and remove friction across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Ashby ATS: manage permissions, seats, pipeline stages, custom communication templates, auto‑scheduling rules and integrations with Slack, Notion, AI Notetaker and Google Workspace.
• Maintain candidate data integrity and compliance: oversee retention settings, consent configurations, duplicate/fraud monitoring and privacy alignment for US and global applicants.
• Build and maintain recruiting dashboards to track funnel conversion, velocity, source effectiveness and interviewer loads, delivering data‑driven insights to leadership.
• Evaluate, scope and govern AI tools, automated scheduling logic and low‑code integrations to reduce administrative overhead and improve candidate experience.
• Partner with recruiting leads to standardise interview loops, create scorecard guidelines, onboard interviewers and document hiring practices in Notion.
• Oversee global logistics and vendor operations, ensuring consistent candidate touchpoints and job board distribution across US, Europe and APAC.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives directly with the Head of Talent.

Required profile

• Strong operational mindset with the ability to switch between long‑term system design and immediate execution.
• Experience managing recruiting systems or HR tech platforms in a fast‑moving, global environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and privacy compliance.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple regions and time zones.
