Talent Engineer

About the role

Glide is building an agentic platform that modernizes banking for community banks and credit unions. As the first Talent Engineer, you will create the recruiting engine that scales the team to over 100 people, turning hiring into a systematic, data‑driven process.

Key responsibilities

• Transform the company’s network into a hiring pipeline by surfacing second‑ and third‑degree connections across LinkedIn, GitHub, operator communities, and referral graphs.
• Automate sourcing and outreach using tools such as Juicebox, Clay, Ashby, and custom scripts to find, enrich, and engage candidates at scale.
• Design LLM‑assisted screening prompts, scoring logic, and quality checks to filter candidates before human review.
• Integrate Ashby as the single source of truth, wiring it into sourcing, outreach, scheduling, and communications.
• Instrument the hiring funnel by tracking time‑to‑fill, source quality, response rates, and offer‑accept rates, and build real‑time dashboards for hiring managers.
• Serve as the front‑line ambassador, delivering an engaging first impression to candidates and supporting founders in final interview rounds.

Required profile

• A builder mindset: comfortable stitching together tools, writing glue code, and thinking in systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining recruiting automation pipelines.
• Comfort with data‑driven decision making and metric tracking.

Required skills

• Python programming
• API integration
• Large language model (LLM) prompting and scoring
• Experience with Ashby ATS
• Familiarity with Juicebox, Clay, and other sourcing tools
