Talent Acquisition Recruiter

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Paycom will own the end‑to‑end hiring process for an active candidate pool, ensuring the right talent is matched to the right positions across the company. This fast‑paced role requires a goal‑driven, sales‑oriented mindset while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Screen, recruit, and hire exceptional talent for assigned Paycom departments.
• Manage an approximately 80/20 active vs. passive applicant pipeline following defined processes.
• Maintain data integrity in the ATS and provide regular, data‑centric updates to stakeholders.
• Source candidates daily using internal ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and other job boards.
• Partner with recruiting leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and execute custom hiring strategies.
• Support senior recruiters and contribute to meeting and exceeding team goals.

• Strong professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate pipeline data.
• Goal‑driven attitude with a sales and service mentality.

Required skills

• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Proficiency sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and similar platforms.
