Tableau Administrator (Remote, Any State)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Tableau Administrator to advance enterprise analytics in a dynamic SAP and federal technology environment. The role helps build a secure, scalable and high-performing Tableau platform, working with SAP experts, data engineers, cybersecurity professionals and business leaders. It is a regular, full-time position with a minimum Secret clearance and up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Tableau Server across development, test and production environments, including installation, upgrades, patching and performance optimization.
• Manage user provisioning, authentication, permissions and access controls, and configure SSO/LDAP integrations.
• Oversee Tableau licenses (Creator, Explorer, Viewer), troubleshoot allocation and connectivity issues, and support published data sources and workbooks.
• Monitor system performance, logs, availability and failed jobs, and integrate Tableau with SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ERP, BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Maintain connectors, service accounts and SAP data access mechanisms, and enforce governance standards for workbooks.
• Coordinate security, audit, backup, recovery and compliance, support migrations, create runbooks and SOPs, and provide Tier 2/3 support.
• Train users, work with Agile delivery teams, and recommend improvements to platform scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance and ability to meet DoD 8140 requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application or analytics platform administration, business intelligence or related technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience administering Tableau Server and supporting Tableau Desktop users in an enterprise environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills, and familiarity with federal IT security standards.

Required skills

• Tableau Server configuration, user/security administration, extract scheduling, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BTP) and SAP-integrated analytics.
• Familiarity with Okta, Active Directory, SSO/LDAP or enterprise identity management.
• Desired: Tableau certifications, SAP BW ODBO connector setup, Okta SSO integration, cloud/hybrid Tableau environments, ServiceNow or Splunk, SAFe, SQL, and background in financial, logistics or supply chain domains.
