Systems Engineer – IT Support & Administration

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Support team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This hybrid position provides both remote and onsite IT support for hedge‑fund and investment‑firm clients, focusing on troubleshooting, systems administration, and infrastructure maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite technical assistance across assigned client environments and manage support tickets.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID) and Windows Server/Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot end‑user issues on Windows, Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support networking, virtualization, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity tools.
• Document tickets, procedures, and client environment details while following change‑control and security standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support, systems engineering, or related IT roles.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced MSP environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and perform physical tasks required for onsite support.
