Systems Engineer – Dedicated (NYC/Stamford)

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to work onsite at high‑profile financial clients in New York City and Stamford. You will join a collaborative support team, providing day‑to‑day IT services and infrastructure management for hedge funds and investment firms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite IT support to end users, handling tickets, documentation and strict change‑control procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD) and Windows desktop environments.
• Administer Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy and Citrix XenApp environments.
• Support endpoint security solutions such as Sophos and assist with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Apply networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls) in an MSP setting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, systems engineering or systems administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lb and navigating client facilities.

• Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting.
