Systems Administrator

About the role

As a Systems Administrator on a newly awarded government contract, you will be the backbone of the technical infrastructure that keeps mission‑critical operations running smoothly. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance of UNIX and Windows environments supporting developers and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 to Tier 3 technical support for IT systems, infrastructure, client/server/storage/network equipment, and mobile devices.
• Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing core software and enhancements.
• Optimize system operations, conduct capacity analysis, and orchestrate infrastructure interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Deliver strategic analysis for escalated service tickets and coordinate hardware/software installations.
• Support design of mission architectures, system layouts, and associated hardware components.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 5+ years Systems Administration experience.
• 5+ years (or more) of experience administering complex systems on government or similar programs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Ability to travel as required and work in standard office and occasional client sites.

Required skills

• Comprehensive administration of UNIX and Windows operating environments.
• Deep experience with system security, including container security, virtual machine security, and strict security boundary enforcement.
• Proficiency with ELK, Tripwire, VMware, and RedHat SELinux tool suite.
