Systems Administrator

About the role

The Systems Administrator will act as the bridge between Zobiz Hospitality’s technology capabilities and its business objectives. You will support the development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the company’s hotel and restaurant software solutions, ensuring reliable operation of POS and hotel management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Control user access and password policies to maintain system security.
• Develop and execute a company‑wide plan for installation, configuration and ongoing administration of POS and hotel operating systems (≈45% of time).
• Design and maintain software tools, operating systems, routers, networks, utilities, databases and internet‑related services (≈30%).
• Monitor system usage and performance, troubleshooting issues and optimizing resources (≈10%).
• Oversee a small team of junior staff, providing guidance and ensuring daily tasks are completed independently.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience with a focus on IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage day‑to‑day activities.
• Experience in a large hotel environment or a publicly traded company is preferred.
