System Developer – AWS Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious mid-level or senior System Developer to join our team in the greater Portland area. Working in an AWS-based environment, you will design and build core enterprise systems while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services on AWS.
• Lead front-end projects using React, JavaScript and Angular, delivering high-quality user experiences.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Collaborate in a highly productive team, adapting to shifting priorities and new technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Required profile

• Mid-level or senior developer with the ability to work independently on front-end tasks.
• U.S. work authorization (green card or citizenship) and willingness to be onsite three days per week.
• Self-motivated learner eager to adopt new tools and frameworks.

Required skills

• AWS cloud services.
• Ruby on Rails.
• React and JavaScript.
• Angular.
• Java (optional but a plus).
