System Administrator

About the role

Alkegen is seeking a proactive System Administrator to join its global IT team. You will be responsible for maintaining critical business systems, ensuring reliable service delivery, and supporting end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide incident resolution and service request management within established SLAs.
• Administer core IT services such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and MDM solutions.
• Perform system imaging, upgrades, configuration, and deployment using enterprise tools.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues and manage backup integrity.
• Train users on best‑practice IT usage and contribute to technical documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency issue triage.
• Lead site‑specific projects and collaborate with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of IT support experience.
• Strong understanding of networking principles (LAN/WAN).
• Experience in a Microsoft‑centric environment (Active Directory, Windows).
• Self‑motivated with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
