System Administrator – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The System Administrator will manage and support the core IT infrastructure for a fast‑growing company in downtown Cincinnati. This full‑time, onsite position involves maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, Azure services, backup solutions and related tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and related services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, licensing and mailbox management.
• Support identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID) and Okta, handling provisioning, MFA and SSO.
• Maintain VMware vSphere and Horizon environments, as well as Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Manage backup, recovery, security controls and enterprise storage capacity.
• Provide operational support for Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, RBAC) and SQL Server instances.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions, primarily with PowerShell.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, responding to incidents and communicating status updates.
