Full Stack Software Engineer II (Angular, Java)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer II to join a leading global payments company. You will work on responsive web applications and Java‑based micro‑services, collaborating closely with product, development and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Write, test, and analyze application code while supporting the product operating model.
• Develop responsive web interfaces that adapt to multiple screen sizes and devices.
• Collaborate with Development and QA colleagues to implement new requirements and improve usability.
• Follow the product development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development and production environments.
• Drive monthly production releases during off‑hours to minimize consumer impact.
• Automate processes and produce maintainable, supportable, and testable code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience following modern methodologies.
• 5+ years of hands‑on front‑end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular (or AngularJS) and UI frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• 5+ years building RESTful services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and micro‑services architecture.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficient with Git, GitHub and DevOps tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Maven).
• Advanced SQL skills; experience with DB2, Oracle or SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, TDD/BDD, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
