Sustainment Manager

About the role

Moog Avionics is seeking a Sustainment Manager to lead post‑delivery product support for its aerospace and defense programs. Based in Mineral Wells, TX, you will shape sustainment strategy, drive business growth, and ensure long‑term system readiness and affordability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sustainment strategy and business development plans for commercial and defense markets.
• Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and risk assessments for recurring and new sustainment opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, operators, and government agencies on sustainment matters.
• Monitor customer budgets and procurement forecasts to translate demand into actionable plans.
• Drive continuous product improvement using field data, reliability analysis, and customer feedback.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Aerospace Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of aerospace sustainment and aftermarket experience.
• Proven track record negotiating contracts of $1M +.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
