Maintenance Technician

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building and hangar operations in Mineral Wells, TX. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, and basic industrial machinery while adhering to EHS policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, painting, building maintenance, welding, cutting, and equipment fabrication.
• Diagnose and repair air‑conditioning and heating equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics and conduct basic electrical installations or repairs.
• Operate forklifts, power tools, and work safely at heights over 10 feet.
• Conduct monthly and weekly inspections of facility safety equipment and respond to hazardous chemical spills.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of facilities or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) skills.
• Effective task‑prioritization and deadline‑driven management abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
