Planning Analyst

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Planning Analyst to act as the central coordinator for Production Control operations. The role manages material flow and production activities from component acquisition through final shipment, ensuring on‑time delivery to customers. The position reports to the Planning/Sales Supervisor and works onsite in Mineral Wells, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy and analyze system alerts to keep production schedules on track.
• Serve as the primary contact for routing data management, creating and updating routing notes as needed.
• Analyze and process planned order reports to support material availability and customer delivery commitments.
• Convert demand signals into work orders, track material shortages, and mitigate risks to the production plan.
• Develop balanced production plans through capacity analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings, audits, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate degree with at least 3 years of experience in production planning, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing (or 5 years of progressive experience).
• Strong communication, organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to understand and apply complex regulations related to purchasing, manufacturing, and production control.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Infor SyteLine.
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or other relevant industry certifications.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense manufacturing processes and regulated environments.
