Supply Technician

About the role

CACI is hiring a Supply Technician in San Diego for its logistics category. The role supports shipyard production and Fleet requirements through material management, logistics coordination and configuration management, ensuring accurate handling, movement, tracking and documentation of materials and equipment across naval programs including Los Angeles- and Virginia-class projects. It involves safe forklift operation, interpretation of technical documentation and use of Navy logistics systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, issue, storage, movement and shipment of materials and equipment supporting shipyard production and Fleet requirements.
• Operate forklifts and handle hazardous materials safely while keeping accurate material records and inventory accountability.
• Research, track and process materiel transactions using Navy logistics systems, resolving logistical issues through analysis and corrective action.
• Interpret engineering drawings, variance documents and revision notices to align logistics actions with technical and configuration requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, production teams and program stakeholders to ensure material readiness and schedule alignment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems.
• Experience with U.S. Navy material ordering, logistics processes, shipping/receiving and transaction workflows.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Desired: Associate's degree-level technical training, ECP and component specification experience, configuration management experience, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail.

Required skills

• Navy logistics systems: SCLSIS, CDMD-OA, NSLC, One Touch, LogiQuest, FedMall.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, TVDs and RNs.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
