Supply Technician I

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Supply Technician I for a warehouse environment. The role covers receiving, inspecting and logging parts and supplies, keeping inventory accurate, picking and issuing items to technicians or departments, and reporting on stock levels and reorder points. The work involves frequent lifting to 20-60 pounds, standing, kneeling and walking, and working under deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and log incoming parts and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips
• Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and periodic physical audits
• Organize and store materials safely and in designated locations
• Flag discrepancies, damage or shortages to supervisors immediately
• Pick, pack and issue parts and supplies to technicians or departments per work orders
• Generate reports on stock levels, usage trends and reorder points

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent
• U.S. citizen
• At least 3 years of supply equipment asset management experience
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Must pass and maintain a Security/SCI security clearance and hold a Government Common Access Card (CAC)
• Pre-employment drug screening required; may need a government background security check

Preferred qualifications

• Graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C school or civilian experience/training
• Maintenance knowledge and skills
• Navy aviation supply systems, procedures, reports and forms
• NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAF entry and completion
• IMRL program

• Pay of $37.49 per hour, plus $8.00 per hour for health and welfare up to 80 hours per period
